If you couldn't already tell this outfit has a lot of 70s influence with the mini skort, flat-form shoes, and the orange/brown palette. Believe it or not, but even though it was minimal clothing I was sweating like a dog. IT IS SO HOT TODAY, and this is only the beginning. If you want an idea of the weather I believe 97 F was the low today... but it's nothing new. On a higher note, today is my mother's birthday! We went out to get some japanese food and it was a blast. My mom really enjoyed herself, and I'm so glad, because I love her so much and she deserves it.

Yesterday I cleaned, the day before that I cleaned, today I cleaned, but on the bright side I thrifted some super cute clothes the other day, I get to go to a fancy steak dinner (with my dad's company) tonight, and then my Grandma is coming in town to stay with us for three weeks. So I guess overall, the cleaning is worth it (no cleaning sucks no matter how you slice it). Since I've been home too much the past week I've found soooo many things to gawk over. I've made it my official summer goal to watch all the episodes of Malcolm in the Middle and to get a job (I've applied at Goodwill and Sonic so far). It's not official yet, but I'm most likely going to see Black Sabbath in concert in July. Which is AWESOME for many reasons. Reason 1: I love Black Sabbath. Reason 2: I haven't been to a concert in agessssssss. Also I need to finish writing a scholarship essay since it's due Friday...On the bright side I have finally got 200 followers and eeeeee! It brings happy tears to my eyes- thank you all for being so supportive and perfect!!

Today is my one-year blog anniversary! I've come such a long way from last year, and I've met soooo many amazing bloggers and made many friends. I just want to take this moment to thank all of my followers, because you guys rock. I would've given up on the blog dream a long time ago if it wasn't for you cool cats. Thank you all! Throughout the past years I've gone through many phases and taken thousands of pictures. I went through all my posts (and was hit with a wave of nostalgia) and picked my all time favorite photos from this year. Oh gosh, remember when I straightened my hair EVERYDAY? Don't get me wrong I love it straight, but I can't believe I used to keep up with it like that. Sometimes I think my hair has been through more changes than anything, but as I looked through my posts I noticed that my fashion sense has seen many phases, too. But I never stop liking one style, I either add on to it or neglect it for far too long and bring it back.

FINALLY school is over for the year! Just one more year of high school, and I can't even begin to describe how relieved I am. Unfortunately I got sick this morning after my physics final, and I think it was test anxiety (and partly my allergies). I was so scared about my final exam in that class, and when I took it it was so difficult. I'm just glad it's over with! And hopefully I passed so I never have to take that class ever again. I'm really excited for this summer, because I already have so many plans! For sure I'm going to:

• get a job (most likely Sonic)
• go to a lot of estate/garage/yard sales to get stuff for my antique booth
• travel to East Texas and get the best chicken fried steak in the world
• learn how to drive
• travel to Austin 
• travel to Houston
• find new gluten-free recipes to try
• start a band with two of my friends
• finish at least one full script 
• READ READ READ

I just realized I haven't put any pictures from the three plays I was in this year, and since the school year is over I feel like this is the perfect opportunity to put them up! The first one is from The History of Tom Jones when I played Lady Bellston (the one in the wig & the gold and red dress.) Second one is from Chemical Imbalance when I was the character Lady Throckmortonshire (blue hat), and the last one is from A Christmas Carol when I played Mrs. Cratchit.
